There are kitchens that cook. And then there are kitchens that perform — spaces designed for someone who approaches hospitality as both a passion and a craft. The Quail Hill kitchen is the latter: a bespoke culinary environment built for a physician who loves nothing more than gathering people around exceptional food, exceptional company, and a home that makes both feel effortless.
Jenna Grace Interiors approached this project the way they approach every collaboration — by listening first. The client’s vision was clear: a kitchen equal to his ambitions, beautiful enough to impress, and engineered precisely enough to disappear when he’s in the flow of cooking and hosting. The result is one of the most thoughtfully appointed entertainer’s kitchens the firm has ever designed.
Stone That Sets the Tone
Dolomite stone surfaces the countertops and extends across the full backsplash, enveloping the kitchen in a continuous sweep of soft, luminous white with delicate natural veining. It is a material that brings both quiet drama and timeless elegance — a fitting backdrop for a space meant to be admired and put to serious use in equal measure.
Polished nickel plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware thread a refined, warm metallic note throughout, catching the light with a jeweler’s subtlety and lending the space the kind of tailored finish that signals genuine craftsmanship at every glance.
Engineered for the Entertainer
At the heart of the kitchen, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances anchor the professional-grade performance the client demanded. But it is in the details — the ones guests may never notice but the host will feel every single day — where this kitchen truly distinguishes itself.
A monumental 60-inch divided sink commands the workspace, fitted with two full-sized Brizo faucets and an instant-hot fixture: a setup designed for the rhythm of serious cooking, where two tasks are always happening at once and efficiency is everything. Two dishwashers ensure that the end of an evening never becomes a chore.
Glass transom cabinets line the upper register, offering curated display space for cherished objects and glassware — beautiful punctuation marks in an otherwise sleek, working kitchen.
Inside the cabinetry, every inch has been orchestrated with the same precision. A magic corner maximizes what would otherwise be lost space. Divided trays and dedicated baking sheet pullouts, spice and oil pullouts, organized pan and lid storage — the interior architecture of this kitchen is as considered as its exterior, ensuring that everything the client reaches for is exactly where it should be.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with our designer, Jenna, on the renovation of our water-damaged home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Her vision to reorient our living room toward the outdoors was a game changer—filling our home with light and beautiful
canyon views and completely transforming the space.
She also modernized our kitchen and bathrooms and thoughtfully reconfigured the layout to include an office, multipurpose room, and mudroom—designed around how
we want to live as we transition into a retirement lifestyle.
Beyond that, it’s the countless “special Jenna touches”, her meticulous attention to every detail, that make our home feel so unique. She has a discerning design eye and confidently shares her expertise, while always patiently listening to our ideas and preferences. What a great experience!
We are so grateful for her creativity, talent, and dedication, and highly recommend Jenna Grace Interiors to anyone looking for a designer who truly cares about bringing your vision to life!
Where Indoors Meets Outdoors
Perhaps the most inspired touch is the dedicated entertaining station positioned at the end of the island, positioned directly at the bifold doors that open to the backyard. A separate ice maker and beverage refrigerator sit here by design — so that outdoor guests can move freely, refresh their drinks, and keep the party flowing without ever disrupting the kitchen’s culinary momentum. It is a small detail with an outsized impact, the kind of intuitive thinking that separates a beautiful kitchen from one that truly understands how people gather.
A Space Worth Coming Home To
Quail Hill is a testament to what happens when a client’s passion meets a designer’s precision. Jenna Grace Interiors brought their signature white-glove approach to every decision — from the sweep of dolomite across the walls to the quiet perfection of a polished nickel pull — ensuring that this kitchen is not simply a showpiece, but a space that earns its beauty every time it’s used.
It is, in every sense, the entertainer’s kitchen this client always envisioned.
Our portfolio offers a window into the elevated custom homes we create—spaces defined by quiet luxury, thoughtful detail, and effortless livability. Each project reflects a tailored collaboration with our clients, showcasing how refined design can feel both beautifully polished and deeply personal.
