When the owners of this Corona Del Mar Craftsman came to Jenna Grace Interiors, that promise was waiting to be fulfilled. What they had was a beloved retreat. What they wanted was for it to finally feel like one.
The transformation that followed is a study in restraint, craft, and the quiet confidence of knowing exactly what a home wants to become.
A New Face, Beautifully Considered
The exterior was where this project found its fullest expression — and where the Jenna Grace Interiors design vision announced itself most boldly. A fresh coat of Alabaster paint swept across the façade, instantly lifting the home into the luminous, sun-washed register that Corona Del Mar does so well. Against that clean canvas, every custom detail was given room to shine.
A bespoke front gate, Dutch doors, and entry door — all crafted in white oak — introduce the home with warmth and architectural character. The grain of the oak, the craftsmanship of the joinery, the way the doors move: these are details that welcome you before you’ve even stepped inside. Custom louvered privacy fencing on both sides of the home extends the white oak language while creating sheltered, serene outdoor space that feels deliberately designed rather than incidentally enclosed.
New modern coastal exterior lighting, specified in a marine-grade finish, brings the home beautifully into the evening hours — durable enough to stand up to salt air, refined enough to complement every other decision made on this exterior. New windows throughout, fitted with integrated roll screens, complete the transformation: clean-lined, functional, and seamlessly resolved.

Inside, the client’s brief was clear — a fresh, minimalist environment that felt as easy and uncluttered as a weekend away should. Jenna Grace Interiors honored that vision fully, bringing a light editorial hand to every space.
The kitchen was thoughtfully refreshed rather than reinvented. New skylights — with remote-controlled shades for effortless light management — flood the space with the kind of natural light that makes everything feel more generous. Vadara Quartz countertops bring a clean, consistent surface throughout, while custom island cabinetry adds tailored storage and quiet visual interest. A stainless steel backsplash at the range introduces a sleek, professional note, grounded by floating white oak shelves that echo the home’s exterior woodwork and invite the display of a few well-chosen objects.
Custom remote-controlled window treatments were installed throughout the entire home — cohesive, elegant, and entirely in keeping with a household that values beauty and ease in equal measure.
Bathrooms Refined from Top to Bottom
Every bathroom in the home received a considered refresh: new cabinetry, updated lighting, new mirrors, polished nickel plumbing fixtures, and custom shelving. Each space now reads with the same clean minimalism that defines the rest of the interior — bright, uncluttered, and finished with the kind of material and fixture selections that feel genuinely elevated rather than simply updated.
The Details That Complete a Home
Beyond what the camera captures, this project extended into the spaces where daily life actually unfolds. A custom built-in desk with floating shelves in the primary bedroom creates a dedicated, distraction-free environment for remote meetings — so that even when work follows you to the coast, it doesn’t have to feel like it does. Custom closet design brings organization and calm to the most private spaces, while an exterior shower and firepit complete the outdoor experience — rinsing off after a beach day, gathering around the fire as the summer evening cools.
